I initially obtained a diploma in Business Administration and like many of my peer I learned IT mostly on my own. At some point, I felt the need to officially become an IT Professional and therefore went back to school, studied and passed a diploma in computer science.
I started working as a Service Desk supporter in 2001. I was switching from an IT Sales career. I was immediately introduced to Remedy 4.5 at that time and sent for extensive BMC training in the US to become one of the company Remedy administrator and developer. After 9 years of loyal services, I wanted to understand how other companies were working, what were their processes like and what kind of infrastructure they had. Therefore, when I had the opportunity to become an ITSM consultant for BMC products in 2009 I did not hesitate a second. This allowed me not only to discover the range of BMC products but also numerous customers in many different areas like state, banking, defense, pharma, insurance and healthcare.
I love biking and hiking with my family. I’m also a wine lover and I enjoy cooking fine meals. I have one addiction...US TV-Shows.
Be always open to change and evolution. Never think that you are the god of your area as with IT your area may disappear from one day to another. Always play, test, have interest in new technologies and if you work with BMC products… never give up challenging BMC teams ;-)
